For a prestigious multinational leader in the construction sector, we are looking for a CONSOLIDATION & FINANCIAL REPORTING SPECIALIST to be included in Consolidation & Financial Reporting, Budgeting/Forecasting Department.
The role includes:
- Overseeing the group consolidation activities, which includes inter-company reconciliations, consolidation entries, financial reporting, balance sheet and income statement management, construction contracts accounting, foreign currency and forex hedging accounting. Monitoring and ensuring the correctness, quality and timing of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting;
- Overseeing the group financial reporting, which includes Annual Reports with Notes and Management reporting, support the subsidiaries in local financial statements, assist in managing the audit process;
- Analyzing specific requests related to M&As, restructuring & reorganization plans, due diligences, implementation of new procedures and tools. In coordination with the Consolidation & Budget Manager and collaborating with the other Heads of Departments (Finance & Treasury, Taxation, Group Accounting, Legal & Risk, Project Office, IT, HR), the Candidate must support the financial analysis, preparing ad-hoc reports and presentations for Group CFO / top management/shareholder.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- A working experience in one of the Big 4 firms is a plus
- More than 7 years of related work experience in multinational business, at least 3 years of supervisory experience
- Accounting and financial reporting experience
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting is required
- Strong experience in Accounting / Consolidation and Reporting software – SAP/BPC knowledge is preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions
- Strong leadership, team building and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and result oriented
- Highly proficient in Excel, knowledge of other MS office applications
- Proficiency in spoken and written English is mandatory
